Practical Proteomics Seminar |
|
In August 2011, BSI attended the Practical Proteomics Seminar held in Vienna, Austria. Following the release of PEAKS Studio 5.3 and PEAKS Online 5.3, we participated in the program's workshops as well as the poster talks. BSI used this opportunity to relate the effectiveness of using our renowned De Novo algorithm in cohesion with our revamped database search engine, PEAKS DB.
What is the Practical Proteomics Seminar About?
Program and theme of this year’s workshop focuses on quantitative techniques and analysis of post-translational modifications in proteomics.
"We believe that integration of these two technologies will be of utmost importance in near future; therefore, topics and invited speakers for the conference have been selected around these two basic themes. We aimed for a balance between different disciplines and topics, with particular emphasis on biological applications of quantitative mass spectrometry, data interpretation, novel technologies and, most importantly, practical issues in the implementation of these techniques."
