PEAKS Online 5.2

Welcome to PEAKS Online 5.2 beta website!

The new PEAKS Online, version 5.2, no longer requires a web interface. Instead, users can install a client software, PEAKS Client 5.2, to submit tasks and view results with greater detail than previously offered to public users. Click here to download PEAKS Client and start processing data.

After PEAKS Client 5.2 is installed on your PC, you will be asked to provide your email address and password to login. All user accounts created for PEAKS Online 2.0, have been automatically enabled to utilize this beta site. This means, if you already have an account for version 2.0, you can use it to directly connect to this beta version. If you are new to PEAKS Online, please send an email to polbeta@bioinfor.com and provide us with your name, email address and organization. We will create an account and get back to you as soon as possible.

PEAKS Online 5.2 vs 2.0

The original PEAKS Online 2.0 can be accessed from here.
PEAKS Online 5.2 uses the same engine as PEAKS Studio 5.2, which is an improved edition over the core engine that PEAKS Online 2.0 was built on.
PEAKS Online/Client 5.2 provides all major functions that come with PEAKS Studio whereas PEAKS Online 2.0 only supports de novo sequencing and protein identification.
Inherited from PEAKS Studio 5.2, PEAKS Online 5.2 now got the Quantification module, which includes both labelled quantification and label free quantification.

The GUI of PEAKS Client 5.2 is very similar to PEAKS Studio 5.2. Therefore, the PEAKS Studio 5.2 User Manual is a good document to use to become familiar with PEAKS Online/Client. Most of the PEAKS Studio Video Tutorials also apply to PEAKS Online/Client 5.2.
