Waterloo, ON, Canada- Scientific software specialists, Bioinformatics Solutions Inc. (BSI) announced the release of their latest protein structure modeling software, RAPTOR 4.4.
RAPTOR 4.4, recognized annually in CASP competitions as a leading method for reliable protein structure modeling, expanded its core application to provide users with greater functionality. Among features introduced with this version, users can now update internal PDB template libraries and read PIR alignment files to process with OWL. OWL is a subsidiary application to RAPTOR, that ensures optimal structure accuracy and completion. Further, users can select alignments from either threading output or BLAST output and specify further alignments to model the 3D structure, using OWL.
