Post-ASMS Mass Spec Symposium (Oct. 15, 2018)

Bioinformatics Solutions Inc. (BSI) will be in attendance and assisting the sponsorship of the 2018 Post-ASMS Mass Spec Symposium in Toronto on October 15th, 2018. The forum encourages the exchange of knowledge and ideas in analytical and bioanalytical sciences, with particular attention to mass spectrometry.

The BSI team will be on-site offering sneak peaks into the upcoming release of PEAKS X, the future generation of proteomics, as well as PEAKS AB solutions for those with antibody sequencing interests.

  • PEAKS X introduces a new approach to shotgun proteomics by utilizing a feature-based data analysis method, which represents a significant advancement in software for discovery proteomics. The feature-based approach increases identification and overcomes limitations associated with co-eluted isobaric peptides and chimera spectra. PEAKS X will also be able to support DIA data analysis. This complete software package provides complete solutions for bottom-up discovery proteomics, including protein identification and quantification, analysis of post-translational modifications (PTMs) and sequence variants (mutations), and peptide/protein de novo sequencing. The future is coming; learn about upgrading your copy of PEAKS today.
  • PEAKS AB Software is a platform for de novo antibody sequencing and the characterization of modifications and sequence variants using liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). PEAKS AB Software also supports characterization of post-translational modifications (PTMs) and variants for research discovery and quality control purposes. Be sure to ask about PEAKS AB Service, where we perform the sample analysis and send you the complete results.
